Gut Power Matcha Smoothie Bowl Recipe

This matcha smoothie bowl will be sure to cool you off during these end of summer heat waves. We hope you enjoy this delicious blend of flavors while you nourish your gut!

Gut Power Matcha Smoothie Bowl


For the Smoothie Bowl:

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup frozen spinach or kale
  • 1 scoop Gut Power Matcha drink mix
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut milk (or a milk of your choosing)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds or ground flax seeds
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter (or nut butter of your choosing)
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup for added sweetness

For the Toppings:

  • Sliced fresh fruits (kiwi, berries, mango, etc.)
  • Chopped nuts (pistachios, almonds, etc.)
  • Coconut flakes
  • Drizzle of honey or maple syrup
  • Additional chia seeds or granola (optional)


1. In a blender, combine the frozen banana, frozen spinach or kale, Gut Power Matcha drink mix, almond milk, chia seeds or ground flax seeds, almond butter, and optional honey or maple syrup. Blend until smooth and creamy. Stop to scrape down the sides of the blender as needed.

2. Once the smoothie mixture is well blended, pour it into a bowl.

3. Arrange your desired toppings on top of the smoothie bowl. You can be creative with the arrangement, adding sliced fruits, chopped nuts, coconut flakes, and any other toppings you prefer.

4. Finish by drizzling a small amount of honey or maple syrup over the toppings for extra sweetness.

5. Optional: sprinkle additional chia seeds or granola on top for added texture and crunch.

6. Serve immediately and enjoy!
